DESCRIPTION
The women's A2B Commuter Hardshell is a unique GORE-TEX® shell fine tuned to deliver waterproof/breathable protection and freedom of movement for urban bike commuters. N40p GORE-TEX® with 3L tricot technology provides comprehensive, breathable weather protection. The face fabric is hardwearing, yet supple and comfortable. The women's specific Trim fit is streamlined and stays close to the body to help maximize the fabric's breathability.
DYNAMIC FREEDOM

City cycling is dynamic. Freedom to move is essential, and Arc'teryx designers put their focus and intention into creating a women's specific shell that works with a cyclist in motion. The articulated patterning is specifically focused for bike commuting, and works with the gusseted underarms to prevent binding and bunching while bent over handlebars. The cut is long enough to provide coverage, but high enough for freedom at the hips and waist, and the aesthetic is urban and sophisticated. The women's A2B Commuter Hardshell is indicative of the longstanding Arc'teryx commitment to deliver use specific, performance driven products for women.
THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT

The A2B needs to provide weather protection in a way that works with the cyclist. Patterning, features, even the aesthetic have to perform in an urban environment. The low profile StowHood™ provides exceptional coverage with a high level of peripheral vision. It fits under most bike helmets, and when not in use, stows in the collar where it's out of the way while riding the bike or the elevator. Reflective elements are built in for safety on the road, and tuck out of sight for a cleaner look off it.
