I love this raincoat, particularly because of the colour. I've received a few compliments on the red and how vibrant it is but also because it suits me well and is easy to match other clothes with.
On a more pratical note, the jacket is very waterproof. I went to the Yorkshire Dales after buying this jacket where the rain was torrential but the jacket kept my clothes underneath very dry, except for what was hanging underneath. The jacket fits well but isn't very long so the base of my jumper got quite wet. Also anything in the front pockets got a bit wet too - perhaps as it the contents are sitting in between the layers and so anything inside the pockets that is touching the outer layer just absorbs the water.
The hood is also very comfortable to wear and it's easy to turn your head when it is on too. Each pocket has a zip which is waterproof also, and the black zip on the front is a nice feature too. On the inside there is also a secret zip next to the centre which great.
The only downside to this jacket is the wrist straps - it's a weird new velcro thing, which is cool, but I feel like this isn't the place for this sort of thing. I like the wrists of my jacket not so loose so when there is excess velcro hanging off it looks a bit weird. Nonetheless, the rest of the jacket is great!
